Upgrade Apple Tablet - iPad with 128GB Internal Storage

Upgrade your Apple Tablet to the Latest iPad with 128GB Internal Storage: The Apple Surprise: a 128GB iPad - CashforiPads Asks, Will an iPad With Expanded Storage Erase Apple’s Recent Slips?
Since bursting into the scene, 120 million iPads have been sold. With the Apple new product introduction cycle increased to twice from once a year and the company introducing a smaller 7-inch iPad, CashforiPads asks, will a regular-sized iPad with expanded storage be a hit in the market and continue Apple's dominance?

This year,Apple not only announced a new version of the iPad with 128GB of internal storage way earlier than expected, but released it on February 5, only four months after the 4th generation iPad was introduced. We at CashforiPads think the closest and most plausible explanation behind this unexpected move would be the rather lackluster performance of the latest Apple releases, particularly, the iPhone 5. A report on January 14 by Reuters claimed that Apple has been reducing its component orders for the iPhone 5 from Japanese suppliers because, because according to Japan's Nikkei, the demand for the smartphone have not been as robust as expected, causing the company's stock to plummet.

The big question now is whether this enhanced version will something the customers would like. So far, CashforiPads thinks the only downside to the iPad’s additional storage is the steeper price for the unit. The suggested retail price for this new version is $799 for Wi-Fi only and $929 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. This is expensive for most users who do not have the extra cash. Other than that, the 128GB iPad is flawless because it is basically an iPad 4 with expanded storage.

Then again, the seemingly hefty price tag of the iPad with 128GB storage should not be a problem for those who want to upgrade their current Apple tablet. Refurbishment sites like CashforiPads.com give top dollar for old gadgets. The proceeds of the quick and convenient transaction, plus just a few hundred dollars could easily be used to buy that pricey iPad with expanded storage.

On the other hand, according to Apple, people are finding more reasons to use their iPads for work, school, entertainment or play. IPads are light, fast to boot up, and easy to use. The best thing about tablet PCs is that they offer the mobility many people find important nowadays.

As for the expanded 128GB storage capacity, CashforiPads thinks this is definitely a great addition to the already powerful iPad. With this extra memory, users can store as many movies, photos, music files, and documents they want without worrying about the processing speed of the gadget. Those whose work entails a lot of graphics or music will really be happy with this new iPad.

Rugged Battery-Powered All-In-One Mobile Server - Vigor EX-B

Rugged, Battery-Powered Server from NextComputing Brings Local Cloud Computing to the Field - All-In-One, deployable server delivers virtualized computing resources to tactical operations centers

NextComputing, a leading provider of portable workstations and dense, small-footprint servers, announces a new rugged portable server solution for forward deployed military environments or any remote location that requires enterprise computing resources. The Vigor EX-B is NextComputing’s first completely battery-powered and fully mobile rugged server, able to run on its own internal power for up to 4 hours. Designed to support tactical operations centers and other mission-critical environments, the Vigor EX-B is the ideal platform for delivering virtualized “local cloud” computing services to multiple users in a remote setting.

As cloud computing continues to grow across multiple industries, off-site operations are often seeking solutions to provide these types of services in the field. While traditional rackmount servers can do the job, these systems and their associated rack infrastructure – including power conditioning, switching, KVM, etc. – are often impractical in a tactical environment where size, weight, power and mobility are important factors. Electrical power is usually unreliable in these situations, and a typical UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) can only run a server for a very short period of time. And though laptops are usually the preferred platform for client systems, these computers are not up to the task of running multiple concurrent applications and operating systems with virtualization – a requirement for deploying cloud services.

ASUS G53SX is World's First Glasses-Free 3D Gaming Laptop

The World's First Naked Eye 3D Gaming Laptop - Look Ma, No Glasses - ASUS has just introduced the World's First Naked Eye or Glasses-Free 3D Gaming Laptop. Will this new technology finally bring 3D into the mainstream?

ASUS, with their Republic of Gamers (ROG) laptops, have constantly been pushing the boundaries of computer gaming. Now, at the latest Computex in Taipei, they have created some collective buzz around one of their latest offerings - the ASUS G53SX, the world's first "glasses-free" 3D gaming laptop. Asus is calling this a Naked Eye 3D system, which will feature some unique technology with the ability to instantly convert existing 2D visuals into glasses-free 3D content.

This 3D laptop even has a "mixed mode" where you can view in one window, a 2D display and a 3D display - all at the same time. And Asus, in a recent press release, is claiming all this can be accomplished without "compromising brightness, contrast or color fidelity, exceeding the output of older 3D technology that relies on glasses."

This glasses-free technology and devices may just be the push 3D needs at the moment, especially with gamers where the jury is still out. It could also conceivably open up a much larger consumer base or marketplace for this new technology and finally bring 3D into the mainstream.

"Getting rid of those awkward glasses will be the key to the success or failure of 3D technology," states Titus Hoskins, a former teacher who now runs: 3D-gaminglaptops.com, a highly ranked site on 3D gaming laptops. "Besides the extra expense, many people find wearing the 3D glasses uncomfortable and a real pain to use."

The 15-inch Full HD G53SX also sports some other ground-breaking features and specs, which will turn more than a few heads in the gaming world. The laptop is powered by a 2nd generation (Sandy Bridge) Intel® Quad Core i7 CPU and discrete DirectX® 11 compatible Nvidia GeForce® GTX 560M graphics, which has a massive 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. It also has a solid state hybrid drive at 10,000 rpm, which can cut down boot times by up to 52%. As you probably know, most high-end gaming laptops currently run at 7200 rpm speeds.

In addition, this ROG gaming laptop comes with a whole suite of 3D content creation and editing software, which will let owners use advanced authoring tools and they will also have 3DTV Play connectivity. Sound performance will be increased with both THX (next generation surround sound) and EAX 5.0 3D, giving gamers up to 128 additional sound effects at once when compared to conventional gaming notebooks.

The laptop's design also includes two fans which will draw cool air in from the front and then push the warm air out through large twin exhausts or vents at the rear of the device. As gamers know, keeping any high-performance machine cool and quiet, are two of the biggest obstacles to enjoyable gaming. Asus made devices have had great success in this area and hopefully the G53SX won't be an exception.

However, it is the Naked Eye or glasses-free 3D feature which makes the ASUS G53SX a true groundbreaker. This new technology opens up a whole new spectrum for 3D gaming laptops without the glasses. It could also pave the way for a whole new industry for Naked Eye 3D gaming laptops and other devices. Regardless, the ASUS G53SX will definitely have many gamers smiling, look ma - no glasses.
