Pixavi Launches Intrinsically Safe Digital Camera and Camcorder: The demand for a high quality, intrinsically safe camera / camcorder is very noticeable in the market today. The Pixavi Xcorder EX4000, a Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified camera and camcorder, brings to market a durable technology to customers within chemical plants, oil and gas installations, shipyards, mines, production environments and other areas, requiring strictly certified electronic equipment.

Featuring a high end CMOS sensor, with ability to capture 8 megapixel high quality still images, and record High Definition 720p video on to either internal memory storage or wirelessly to a network share, it is a perfect tool to be utilized in very harsh and rugged environments. Its excellent low light capability and the flash / video light makes it suitable for virtually any lighting conditions
