Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS-Enabled Sport Watch with Heart Rate Monitor
For a limited time through May 15th, 2012, the Heart Rate Watch Company is teaming up with Garmin and will offer a $50 rebate on select Garmin GPS watches and heart rate monitors.
"This sale allows high school and college students to save $50 on the Garmin Forerunner 610, Forerunner 210 and the Garmin FR70 with a foot pod," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "These are some of the very best models as the 610 was our top GPS watch for 2011 and top distance runners, like Ryan Hall, use the Garmin 210 for training".
The $50 rebate is available to all high school and college students with a valid identification card from the institution they attend.
The Garmin Forerunner 610 is Garmin's flagship GPS watch and is the only watch of its kind that offers a touch screen interface. The Garmin 610 works for a multitude of outdoor sports and was voted the top new GPS watch release for 2011 by the Heart Rate Watch Company.
The Garmin Forerunner 210 is Garmin's easiest to use GPS running watch. This is the same watch that top American runner Ryan Hall used at the Boston Marathon in 2011 when he ran a 2:04.
The Garmin FR70 is Garmin's newest watch introduction and the model replaces the FR60. The watch and a foot pod qualify for the $50 mail-in rebate program as well. The FR70 is a heart rate monitor that uses a foot pod to get speed and distance.
