Multi-Tech Systems, a world leading manufacturer of cellular modems for M2M (machine-to-machine) communications, expands its line of modems and routers to provide more options for customers to meet a full range of application requirements and budgets. Most notably, the MultiModem® rCell intelligent wireless routers and MultiModem® Cell cellular modems are now available in a plastic chassis for deployments in consumer-facing controlled environments.

In addition, new models of the SocketModem® iCell intelligent embedded cellular modems and the SocketModem® Cell embedded cellular modems are also available. The features and competitive pricing of these new models further meet customer needs, while maintaining Multi-Tech’s high quality standards.

The intelligent operating system of the MultiModem rCell allows for automatic/persistent connectivity for mission-critical applications and enhanced machine-to-machine (M2M) communications functionality.
