Most notably, the MultiModem® rCell intelligent wireless routers and MultiModem® Cell cellular modems are now available in a plastic chassis for deployments in consumer-facing controlled environments.

The new MultiModem rCell and MultiModem Cell models are available with either quad-band HSPA or dual-band EV-DO Rev A performance via a standards-based 3G cellular modem. These ready-to-deploy, standalone routers and modems integrate seamlessly with virtually any application. The intelligent operating system of the MultiModem rCell allows for automatic/persistent connectivity for mission-critical applications and enhanced machine-to-machine (M2M) communications functionality. The new SocketModem iCell and SocketModem Cell models add communication capability to existing or new products with minimal engineering effort, accelerating time-to-market, and feature Universal Socket connectivity and Universal IP™ for flexible and future-proof designs.
